Home Foreclosure &
Housing Failure
Prevention Program
A Sponsored Program of
The Universal Peacemakers Foundation
Consistent with its commitment
toward helping families at risk of home foreclosure, the loss of their land,
and the failure of their efforts to develop and build affordable housing
solutions for their communities, The Foundation has launched a new effort
called The Home Foreclosure & Housing Failure Prevention Program; a non-profit, minimal fee, professional
effort to address the national and global financial crisis that is victimizing
millions of families, worldwide.
The
Home Foreclosure & Housing Failure Prevention Program
(HFHFPP)
Is a collaborative effort between home foreclosure & housing failure professionals who: (1) want to help people stay in their homes; and (2) want to help developers and builders stay in their housing projects.
THE
HFHFPP
Is
a non-profit “holding company”
That
takes temporary ownership of “at risk” homes and housing projects
In
order to prevent foreclosure or project failure
And
creates and coordinates a prescriptive process of
“Home
Foreclosure Recovery” or “Housing Project Rejuvenation”
THE
HFHFPP
Will
use “creative financing” strategies and instruments
Will
negotiate with and on behalf of homeowners and housing professionals
Will
leverage debt and/or equity funds (both public and private)
In
a coordinated collaborative effort to stop foreclosures and failures
THE
GOALS OF THE HFHFPP

foreclosures
